  • Technology and Innovation Solutions: SODRI leverages technology and innovation to drive development progress. We identify emerging technologies, assess their applicability to development challenges, promote digital solutions, and facilitate knowledge exchange to harness the transformative power of innovation.
  • Natural Resources Management: SODRI provides guidance on sustainable management of natural resources, including land, water, minerals, and biodiversity.   • Climate Change & Adaptation Strategies: SODRI assists organizations in understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change.   • Research Policy: We assist scholars and administrators in navigating laws, regulations, and policies related to their interested programs. It also coordinates efforts on public engagement for policy development process and key research-related issues.
  • Knowledge Transfer and Technology Transfer: SODRi’s Knowledge Transfer Office supports technology transfer operations across its programs providing services related to information systems, financial management, and intellectual property management
  • Health and Systems for Health: Research and initiatives focused on health systems strengthening and improving health outcomes in Somalia.
